My
Story

Coming from humble beginnings and having two incredibly hard-working parents, I have always had a great work ethic.  Combining this with an innate curiosity, passion for people, and natural communication skills finally led me to a career in sales.

Being from a low social and economic background exposed me to bias and prejudices throughout my childhood, in sports and in my career.   While this has never held me back, it has made me susceptible and acutely aware of the class pay gap that is still prevalent today.  Something that, until very recently, I didn't know even existed, and I am now extremely passionate about driving better awareness of the social mobility challenges some people face.

I have embraced the resilience, drive and determination I learned growing up to navigate and build an incredibly successful sales and leadership career in the technology industry, spanning over 25 years. Throughout my career, I have won multiple awards, both individually for sales and as a team. I also built and led one of the UK's largest, most highly decorated, global award-winning Cisco practices.

My success in this role led to my promotion in 2015 to Director, leading a Global Award-Winning Partner Management and Marketing Division at CDW with revenue responsibility of over $1.1bn.  I have been a member of numerous Partner Advisory Boards, the most recent being IDC, and am a judge of CRN Women In Channel and Diversity Awards and CRN Awards.  â€‹

Having retrained as a Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) Registered Corporate Coach™ (RCC™), ILM Accredited Business Coach, Leading Energy Profile Practitioner, and motivated by making coaching and leadership training more accessible and affordable, I founded Coachere.  Coachere is a coaching and consulting business focusing on talent and leadership development within the IT channel and adjacent industries through one-to-one and group coaching and purposefully designed workshops (www.coachere.com).

Finally, as not everyone can afford coaching and doesn’t have access to mentors, I founded The Channel Community CIC to provide an inclusive community of like-minded people wanting to give back by offering free-of-charge mentoring and offering support and advice to people in the IT Channel, through networking events (www.thechannelcommunity.com).

I am a devoted mother to Alexia and happily married to Rob. In my spare time, I enjoy running, playing tennis, travelling, setting myself challenges, spending time with family and friends, and making beautiful memories.
